The "Top of the Tree" focus for April has just been revealed, this time focusing on the French Heavy Tank line leading to the AMX 50B. The tier II to V vehicles will be discounted by 50%, and the VI to X for 30%. World of Tanks PC has announced what form its April Fools events will take this year, in the form of World of Tanks Classic, a special standalone version of the game available from the 29th of March until the 3rd of April, which will represent the game as it existed in Patch 0.7.0, released back in 2011. From the old on-rails physics, ro being able to talk to your team, gold-only premium ammunition, and a simplified economy designed to allow you to progress faster and experience the full breadth of gameplay in the old days of the game.
Through participating in the gamemode, you will receive a unique camouflage, inscription and emblem referencing an infamous internet meme of the era.

Today, a pair of bundles have become available allowing you to purchase a new Soviet tier VI Medium Tank, "Loza's M4-A2 Sherman". This is a late-war M4-A2 Sherman armed with a 76mm gun, and represents the historical vehicle crewed by Dmitry Loza, a Hero of the Soviet Union for his actions during the Vienna Offensive.
